Our main concern is preventing dental disease and offering you, our valued patients, the highest quality of care you deserve when needed.  We believe that there is a strong connection between your dental health and your overall physical health and well being.  

Dr. Alonso provides treatment based on his professional judgement and not on the cost of care.  It is important for you to also make it a priority to maintain your dental health and achieve the smile you have always wanted.  We are here to help you.

Dental Insurance Plans:

We are providers for most PPO dental insurance plans.  The majority of them are offered by employers and  have different levels of coverage. Preventative procedures are usually covered at 100%, thus, encouraging the patient to be seen every 6 months.  Prevention is the key. Dental insurance can help patients pay for part of their dental treatment, but it does have many limitations and certain procedures are not covered.  Most insurance plans are subject to a deductible of $50 to $100 and pay only a specific percentage for each type of treatment.  They  have a yearly maximum amount of funds available for dental care. 

As a courtesy, we will confirm your insurance coverage before your first visit and obtain a breakdown of benefits. After your initial exam we will give you a treatment plan that will show you an estimate of what your insurance will pay and an estimate of your portion.  You will be asked to pay your estimated co-pay the day services are rendered.   We will submit the claim to your insurance. Insurance companies will not guarantee payment, therefore, if the dental insurance payment is less than originally estimated, the remaining balance is your responsibility.  We are skilled in understanding  insurance companies and will be happy to  assist you.

We are contracted with the following PPO dental insurance companies: Delta Dental, Met Life, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Ameritas, Dental Heath Alliance, GE Life, First Dental Health, Principal, Heath Net, CDN, Cigna, United Concordia, Pacific Care PPO, Safeguard PPO, Aetna, Guardian, Humana, Premier Access, Well Point, and others.  If your insurance is not listed above please call them or us to inquire if Dr. Alonso or Community Family Dentistry  are providers for your plan.

Financing :

Have a Healthy and Beautiful Smile today!!  We accept cash, checks and major credit cards. Because your smile is important to us, we also offer CareCredit. This is a convenient, low minimum monthly payment program for the entire family especially designed to pay for treatment not covered by insurance.

Care Credit offers two types of plans:

-No interest Payment Plans: 3, 6 or 12 months.

-Low interest plan: 24,36, 48 or 60 months plans at 11.9% apr. (this plan is for fees of $1,000 or more).
